Lillieth Grand MS, MT-BC of Milestone Music & Therapy to help facilitate communication and expression through musical experiences. Music therapy has shown effectiveness in many areas such as “overall physical rehabilitation and facilitating movement, increasing people's motivation to become engaged in their treatment, providing emotional support for clients and their families, and providing an outlet for expression of feelings.” (American Music Therapy Association) Ms. Grand provides music therapy sessions for OLIVENBAUM staff members for healthy and balanced physical, emotional, intellectual, social, spiritual needs. She also is trained to help children with neurological differences including but not limited to traumatic brain injury, autism, and developmental disabilities to achieve therapeutic goals.
